The Damngood Story
I didn’t start out in home inspection. For 17 years, I worked in CPG — corporate sales, marketing, operations. Stable. Predictable. And completely disconnected from what actually matters: people.
In 2019, I left corporate America and founded Damngood Inspection. Not because I loved looking at roofs (though I do), but because I saw families making the biggest purchase of their lives with zero real information. Agents pushing deals. Sellers hiding problems. Buyers crossing their fingers.
That didn’t sit right with me.
Why “Damngood”?
The name came from something I’d say after every inspection: “Let’s make sure it’s damngood before you sign.” Not perfect. Not flawless. But damngood — solid, honest, worth your investment.
That’s still our standard today.
The CMI Difference
I’m a Certified Master Inspector (CMI) — less than 1% of Florida inspectors hold this designation. It means:

Kingdom Values
I’m not big on institutional religion. But I believe in kingdom values: community over profit, service over status, relationships over transactions.
In 2019, my wife Ana and I founded The Cup of Good in Delray Beach — a coffee shop that hired people in recovery and adults with disabilities. We closed it (expenses were brutal), but the mission mattered.
Damngood operates the same way. We’re here to serve, not just collect fees.
